Book Review: Gifts of Fate by Alanea Alder

“Wait. What! Why do I get shot?” Welcome to Christmas time! In my opinion pulling off multiple points of view is usually difficult to pull off successfully, however Gifts of Fate pulls it off perfectly and manages to use it to its advantage in culminating in multiple climatic events. Some of the plot points felt a tad repetitive, but they are easy to get through. I recommend it to fans of Hallmark Christmas Specials and small-town paranormal fans.

Book Review: Fated Surrender by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“I still say we got robbed. I want to shift into an animal.” I must say, I am impressed. Fated Surrender leaned more towards thriller than small-town paranormal. It’s just as fast-paced as the other books in this series. There are some minor editing mistakes, which are always easy to skip past. I recommend it to not just fans of small-town paranormal fans, but also fans of thrillers.

Book Review: My Haven by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専馃専

“I hereby banish all canned soups from Merytopia!” And we are in the final pillar city! My Haven is the first book in the Storm Keep arc of the Bewitched and Bewildered series. It’s just as fast-paced and fun as the previous books. As with all of Alanea Alder’s books my only ‘complaint’ is that there are minor editing mistakes that fell through the cracks, but as per usual they are easy to skip past. I recommend this book for all geeks who love paranormal books.

Book Review: Fated Healing by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“I swear, one tiny nuclear explosion at a science fair and you’re labeled for life.” Once again, a broken record and all that jazz. Seriously though, these books are great, I love how fast-paced they are. Fated Healer does an excellent job of solving its major issue in the span of a little under 200 pages. There are some slight editing issues, but as I’ve said before, those are expected and easy to sweep past. I recommend this to fans of small-town paranormal books, as well as medical drama fans.

Book Review: Fated Forgiveness by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“I have memorized all the laws now.” I know, I know, I once again sound like a broken record. Fated Forgiveness is fast-paced and hilarious. I absolutely adore the wide range of characters. There are a couple plot twists that feel a little repetitive, but I still enjoy reading this series. I still recommend it to readers who enjoy small-town paranormal books.

Book Review: Fated for Forever by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“You must be the Alpha. Please, it's a closed space, try not to piss on him to mark him, the smell will get overwhelming.” The Kindred of Arkadia series is not as much of a guilty pleasure as the Bewitched and Bewildered series, but it’s still an amazing read. Fated for Forever is hilarious while still hitting some hard topics. I disliked some of the plot twists, they felt a tad repetitive. I recommend it for people who enjoy small town paranormal books.

Book Review: Fated to be Family by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“Don't look at me! Your Alpha is addressing you.” Fated to be Family has a little bit more humor than its predecessor. It’s fast-paced, just like all the other books Alanea Alder puts out, which is a boon in my opinion. My only dislike is that after reading some of her other books I expect them all to have the same rules about supernatural creatures, which is not the case and is more of a pet-peeve I would say. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy supernatural books set in small towns.

Book Review: Fate Knows Best by Alanea Alder

馃専馃専馃専馃専

“Who in the hell is Sebastian?” And we start another decently long series. Fate Knows Best is the start of the Kindred of Arkadia series, another similar series to Bewitched and Bewildered. It is also fast-paced and funny, but it doesn’t provoke quite the same reactions that Bewitched and Bewildered does. I recommended it to readers that enjoy small-town books.
